Favorite Thanksgiving Dishes!

thanksgiving dishes.

Even though it doesn't FEEL like almost-Thanksgiving (it's currently like 80 degrees here), we're already into our second week of Thanks and Planks#LSFPlankful challenge and gearing up for the holiday season to officially start!

In order to get in a little holiday spirit and keep it healthy, I wanted to share some of my favorite Thanksgiving sides with you girls. I'm also throwing in a little sneak-peak into the deliciousness that is the Guiltless Nutrition Lifestyle and Recipe Guideas some really great ways to pair these dishes. So, without further ado, let's get to the meal pairings!

Good ol' American meat and potatoes kinda dinner:

Guiltless Lemon Herb Chicken + Garlic Cauliflower "Potatoes"

Even Grandma will be happy with this pairing… it's the old school way of doing things, just a lot healthier! Shh, don't tell her the potatoes aren't starchy ol' Idahos. I bet she gobbles it up and doesn't notice.

Speaking of gobbles… feel free to get festive on this one and sub turkey for the chicken!

All Day I Dream About… Balsamic

Guiltless Balsamic Chicken + Brussels with Cranberries and Balsamic Reduction

Thanksgiving Side, Brussel Sprouts, Oh my GOURD, I love Thanksgiving food!

MMMmmm… Balsamic reduction. So. Dang. Good. On everything, pretty much. This chicken from the Guiltless Nutrition Guideis so moist and yummy and pairs perfectly with these Brussels. (Again, if you're all about turkey this month, I feel ya! So go ahead and get your gobble on by substituting some turkey breasts for chicken here, too.)

Orange you glad I told you about this meal?!

Guiltless Lemon Pesto Salmon + Cinnamon Butternut Squash

Healthy Thanksgiving Recipe, Oh my GOURD, I love Thanksgiving food!

If you girls have the guides, you know how much I dig sweet potatoes. They're seriously a staple over at my house (and I hope at yours, too!). Sometimes it's nice to switch it up, and right now I'm really loving the warm, comforting flavors of this cinnamon butternut squash. It will be such a great Thanksgiving side that is familiar, but a little bit different than the usual.

Pair it with a surprisingly autumnal take on my favorite orange (okay, pinkish) fish from my Guiltless Nutrition Guide: salmon and enjoy!

Burgers and fries? Boring. How about burger and Brussels…

Guiltless Turkey Burger + Spicy Brussels

Spicy Brussle Sprouts Thanksgiving Side, Oh my GOURD, I love Thanksgiving food!

You girls know how much I loooooove spicy. I could definitely get behind Sriracha being its own food group, honestly. So put a little spice into your life with these amaaazing, spicy Brussels.

Seriously, if this isn't a thing, let's make it one. Guiltless turkey burgers and spicy Brussels as a side? Sign me up!

Let me wipe the drool from my chin…

I am seriously sitting here drooling as I write about these recipes and there are so many more to love in the guides (and all the deets on the four I mentioned above, too). Grab your Guiltless Guides here, or bundle them upwith the rest of the guides for a really great savings!

I am dying to know what you girls are making for Thanksgiving this year! Share your favorite recipes below and let me know when you've tried out these sides.

Snap a pic, tag us in it (@lovesweatfitness and @teamlsf), and share the love so your other LSF babes can get some serious healthy Thanksgiving inspo from you gals!

Gotta say, I am #LSFPlankful for all of you and this wonderful community we created together! Oh, and food. I'm really grateful for food, too!
